About this network

The group is a network for CIBSE (RoI region) members who are working in or planning to work in the Building Energy Rating (BER) sector.  Details on BER requirements are available from SEI, including a register of BER assessors, at the following website: http://www.sei.ie/Your_Building/BER/

How to join

If you are already a member of CIBSE (RoI region), you can join the network in our Members Area.

Objectives

The network’s objectives include following:

·       promoting CIBSE members who are working as energy assessors,

·       liason with SEI on qualifications and training required for energy assessors

·       liason with SEI and Department of Environment, H & LG on enforcement

·       establishing a network between energy assessors who are CIBSE members
